Paws and Claws Pet Shelter believes that no one should have to surrender a pet they love dearly because of financial hardship.
Pet Food and Supplies
We believe that by providing pet food, many pets can remain in their current home instead of being turned over to our local animal shelters or abandoned. If you are in need of a food donation, please come in during open hours. We often have some pet supplies available or can work to find things such as crates, collars, and bedding if these items can help keep a pet in their home.
Behavioral Support
We are here to help pet owners. Together we can get ahead of behavior challenges before they become a problem.
Medical Costs
While Paws and Claws does not currently cover medical bills, we do work with some rescue partners who have emergency veterinary vouchers. There are also programs for helping cover end of life costs for medical reasons.
Please fill out this form to request medical support.
Microchips
We can microchip your pet and help you get it registered. If your pet is already microchipped we can scan for it and help make sure the information is correct or help you get it updated. We can usually do this during open hours, but it is best to call and make an appointment. While there is no fee, we appreciate donations.
Vaccines
When we are able we hold vaccine clinics. The most current information would be posted on our Facebook page or you can call the shelter.
